
ok, its still being clonestamped and such but here is the pretty much finish of the frog. I agreed with Nate that it still feels slightly controlled in the water motion and doesn't maintain the same fluidity as the Goose. I had screwed up in making a bubble around the frog and fly which ticked me off after I look at it knowing that I had played it "safe" with the vignette so to speak. It is what it is...
I think this is a nice addition, adding the softer edges - it seems to glow now. And where this piece isn't about strong action and intense activity, having a calming and tranquil background fits the mood nicely. I think my only recommendation now (and this might just be the web version) is that we have lost the fly a little bit into its surrounding color. I think if the blue immediately around it were just a little lighter, then he would pop back out a bit.
